Ok so basically Audi beat them to production with the TT.

 

Even so I recon that it looks nice enuff for a modern day Sports car...Remember the Super Car shape is basically dead in the new performance car market so we were never going to get anything as nice as the Z32.

 

The performance is dissapointing. The basic powerplant is a V6 3.5 Litre NA VQ engine with a expected 260 BHP (puke). For those that dont know the VQ engine, it is already a production engine for the Maxima and i think also Pathfinder in America. The bad news is, Aluminum block ... so any ideas of modding up to 800HP can go bye bye straight away.

On the other fronts, driveline configuration remains the same, i.e Front Engine, Rear wheel drive, with independent suspension. 6 Speed Manual or 5 speed electronic auto will be the transmission choices available and a sub 6 second 0 - 60 is anticipated.

Apparently Nissan isn't happy with the 260bhp either and are already talking about 300bhp (chip)
