Could someone do me a favour. I am going to order some silicon Hose from my local supplier. But I am 300 miles from my car. Could someone tell me the ID of these hoses and the length that they are so I can get it a little longer.

Thanks in advance,

Order them from Smithy, that way you can be certain you'll get the right kit.

If you mean the intake pipes, 4 off that go throttle bodies and the tubs, fraid you can't just buy a length of certain diameter and cut it and hope it bends okay around the curves etc, these are shaped hoses as well as different diameters at either end for 2 of them, so you need replacements made for the vehicle. If you mean the various breather hoses, various lengths and in 4mm and 6mm diameters.

Yes it is the 4 at the fron of the engine bay (2 either side). I am not thinking of buying a straight length. I order a lot from Hydrasun for my work. And after speaking to the guy I usually deal with he said he could order, bend and shape it for me.

I was looking on your site for the stainless steel pipes with short silicon connectors but could not find them or a price. I may just buy it from you as Andy says it would be easier and fit perfect.

Samco code is TCS08 - doubt you'll have much luck though as they're manufadctured to order, rather than just being moulded.

Danny @ DTA now sells them. He supplied me with a replacement silicon pipe for my Coolant hard pipes for a couple of quid (would of cost me £30 to buy elsewhere, as min length was 1m)

Hi DaveG,

I sell both the stainless steel hardpipe kits (ex-Smithy) as well as full silicone intake kits.

S/S: £225 + £8 postage

Silicone: £168 + £8 postage (blue, red, black, yellow and included all the s/s fixing bands)

The company I use for the silicone pipes has already done the tooling for it and so it is going to be cheaper than when someone else has to do it. If ordering through Samco you'll probably find you're looking at a two month waiting period.

Let me know if I can help.

Regards,

Dan
