I assume that the figures quoted are for a NA 3.5l engine. A turbo version should be ever so slighlty quicker ;) - lets hope they follow this through to its full potential.

mmmmmm still not sure on this model its a merc audi tt lookalike and what am i worried about anyway its not as if i can afford one anyway they'll be daft money. i think i saw what may be the first imported eclipse in the uk before although it was on french plates

 

Less than 30K$ dollars which translates to 30k Pounds with Nissan... Turbo charging will probably be impossible due to the engine composition. Hopefully Droppin a Skyline Lump in there will be easier than the Z32 altho i doubt it as they come for 2 completely differen't internal nissan design teams.

 

What is the deal with thos Eclipse things why do we not get any over here imported, I have seen 2 american ones but not a single Jap one on UK plates anywhere, they aren't too bad cars either.

Not too keen on it myself and there almost certainly won't be a turbo version. 20" wheels though!!!

BTW, I've driven a few Eclipse's in the USA and trust me, try before you buy! They are nice but just feel so damn heavy (don't know if they actually are). I do like the look of them though.

our firm is currently tryin to find investers to put up the capital for the tooling etc to put the new jensen onto the market and from the piccies ive seen if and its a big if it does get the funding this car will be awesome and will be a shade under 32grand
