I have just found out that one of the young apprentices at work has tried to 'Turbocharge' his Almera 1.4 by fitting two computer cooling fans into the pipe leading out of his airbox.

Watch this space Nico..Dont go buying them new blowers just yet.

Is this guy serious. Why doesn't he just connect a pipe going from the air intake to the driver cabin and he can then blow down it whilst he is driving along!

Actually, I was thinking of attaching my hoover motor to my intake. I should get at least 900bhp from that!

For those of you with 2+2 NA's .... Sit two tarts on the back seats. Get two lengths of garden hose and connect them to each intake. Use Blue Peter style washing up bottle ends and connect them to the other end of the garden hose's. Direct the hoses into the car, up through the roof, poking down to the back seats. Step on gas, ask Juicy Lucy & Sweaty Betty to blow like they have never blown before. Estimated gains between 20 - 80 HP depending on the calibre of the two gals purchased.
