Anyone any experience of fitting new sills either outer or inner, hard/easy job and costly, how much I am looking at ??

I have fitted the rear sections, are you doing the whole lot, rears wearn't to bad, cut and welded inner onto old one to save a lot of hassle. Have you done anything like this before?

got me dad to make my outersills, made a cracking job (apart from setting my carpet alight inside, its a job best left to people in the know

I won't be doing them meself mate, just trying to get an idea of how longish and how much the job would cost for fitting the complete outer sill, so was kinda hoping one or two other peeps had done it already ;)

I had both rear sills replaced and sprayed at a cost of £140 a side, but the garage said he shoul dhave charged me double

 

i have just had inner sill welded for 40quid

Not sure, i'm going to attack mine with an angle grinder, hammer and welder very soon though ;)
