as your looking at the engine from the front under the right hand tb there is a small pipe

 

What is this? is it a vacuum pipe? and where does the other end connect too?

 

also if this was not connected what effect would it have ? would it put car into safety boost?

cant remember what it does but mine was always blowing off, i check it all the time now, it never put mine into safety boost

IIRC it connects to the balance bar. I had to block mine off when I removed the carbon canister..
