what consists of a 3k maintenence service. im going to have a go and do it all my self.

    If your car is standard then just change the oil and filter!

    If you have a washable filter then clean it.

    check the levels of all the fluids, top 'em up if they need it.

    Tyre pressures and condition, take the wheels off and check the brakes over.

    Kick tyres!

    There is'nt an official 3k service schedule, but a lot of us change our oil and oil filter every 3k
