Hi

Selling my 300 on e bay at the mo and a potential buyer has asked me the engine number. Now I know its at the back of the block, and like everything within the engine bay, will be a sod to get to or see. But can anyone show me a diagram or detailed description of wher to look? Ive been outside with a torch for an hour and no luck!

Thanks

Karl

Back of the engine - stamped into the cylinder block, right next to where one of the heads meet the block. Probably be pretty hard to read, as it probably would have rusted somewhat.

Can't remember which head its next too - but I think it's the offside (UK drivers side)

Hope this helps a bit

Thanks

Ive just tried again to see it and have now given up miserably!

Thanks anyway!
