i have a 1990 na jap car.i am going to get the tracking sorted out and was wondering if a na car needs the rear wheels tracked,as i am told na's don,t have rear wheel steering.is this true?.

NA's do not have HICAS, but still need to be correctly aligned. The rear axle has an eccentric cam on the end of each control arm (per side) to adjust alignment. Well, it does on my SWB anyway.

 

I only know this because I had mine laser aligned at the weekend. It WAS way out, and is now spot on - it has made a BIG difference so it's definitely worth doing properly.

 

Cost me £60 BTW (all four corners adjusted).

That`s for camber adjustment, not tracking but important anyway.
