Electric windows

Windows dont work, Put a new fuse in, then they decide to work for about 2 mins then they just die on me again. :confused:

 

any ideas?

yep the fuse has gone.This is prob the 3rd time we've replaced it. Dont think it has worked since we've had the car tbh. just keeps blowing for sum reason.

replace the fuse with a bit of tin foil! :D

Well its gonna be shorting out somewhere or something, fooked if i know what it is?

 

Does it blow from using both widows or only when one is used?

blows when either window is used mate. then after about 2 - 5 mins it just dies forever until a new fuse goes back in.

it has got the right rating of fuse in?? Not sure what it is, but gotta start with the simple things!

soz guys forgot to add this in at the beginning. also when the fuse is in, and u hit the front fog lights on, that also blows the fuse.

 

Rich666 - yes it does have the right rating of fuse mate.
