My zx bit me hard tonight.......bitch

came off a roundabout on a left hand bend, arse kicked out right, so i was 90 degrees to the road, then 90 left, back 90 right, 90 left then finally back another 90 to the right, so im now on the outside lane of the dual, facing across the road to the inside pavement.

i never realised just how much of the seat a human arse could suck in...

luckily, managed to escape hitting anything, but was only luck, nothing else.

cold tyres, wet roads covered in salting grit didnt really help matters i guess..

be right back anyway, need to change me undies

I've been reading posts similar to this for a while now, but didn't understand what people were on about until I went out with Karl today! Roundabouts+greasy roads+Zed=sideways action!

there was a fiesta with 4 blokes in it behind me who stopped,

the driver said "fair play mate, you must be able to handle that to have not lost it"

but it was just so hard to look cool, while digging my jeans out of my ass

Nice one bud. Luck was on your side matey!!

pmsl, u br carefull mate

i did that not long after i got mine. Except i hit the kerb and blew the wheel off the rim, but no lasting damage was done.

heheh!!

Glad you kept control like a real proffesional ;)

Went I was going to Combe trackday last year I thought 'yeah no worries, I'll power the back end out, give it some opposite lock and bobs your uncle, sideways action followed by good rescue'. The reality was not so easy! I did the same as you and then spun around a few times.

There are so many times I've gone sideways on the roads and recovered it and thought yeah cool, but I don't think I've ever really done it purposefully. I just got carried away and tried to stay cool after while calming the brown starfish down! I'd like to learn how to do it properly one day.

After todays events, i think a drift school would be a good day out myself

When you come up, I'll teach you ;) :D

Thing is, i thought i was pretty good at it, and often kick the arse out when showing off, but today quite shocked me, i NEVER expected a 5 way kick lol
