JWT Chip

Sorry to repeat a question which has possibly been asked before (tried searching without much luck).

 

Where can I buy a JWT chip from?

Im not sure on the "socketed ECU". Where can I get this done and why is it requored?

    I have one for a tt manual! Your stock chip is soldered directly to the circuit board and needs carefully removed with a eprom socket soldered in its place.

     

    There will be some forum members who can advise on where to have this done.
