Does anyone know whether MK2 MR2 alloys have a similiar pattern / offset to fit onto a 300zx. I kept a set of 17" Arospeed RS GTs from my old MR2, saves me money from buying new alloys if these fit.

Just get some better rubber onto it.

TIA,

Tried it the other way round and didn't fit, so guess not.

i'm in a similar dilema, got a set of 18" momo racers from a 5 series BMW and wana make them fit..

surely this is possible with a bit of help from an engineer???

as far as i know all you need is a conversion plate from the pdc your hub has to the one your wheel has, and then sort out the offset so it clears the caliper etc...

am i talking *****x?? lol..lol..lol..

if i do manage to get this done i'll post up the details here, i'll be surprised if there isnt an engineering company on here who could do this??

Surely it will be easier to sell the BMW alloys and with the money you get from them put towards a set for the Z. IMHO

of course you are correct, but one of them is busted so i need to get it ally welded first, calling in a favour to get that done so rather then selling them and saying they've been fixed i'm gunna try and modify the hub to take em i think...

i'll get some pics of them and photoshop them onto the car before i decide what to do tho, i always do this as it gives a very good idea of what things will look like..

Aftermarket alloys which were on an Mr2 could fit - the offset is the important bit.

Both cars have pcd 5x114.3mm.

I have had Mr2 alloys on a Z, but one was 7", 30 offset, the others, which fitted, were 7.5", offset about 38.

Case of try and see how you get on.

ps...Celica wheels do not... they are 5x100pcd

Centre bore is also important - but yes they do share the same PCD

Ill give it a shot anyway to see. Nothing else to do anyway, off till the 9th.

Ill let you know how I get on though.

they are the same stud fitting, but depth maybe an issue i think

I managed to get the alloys on. Just ordered M12 x 1.25 tuners compared to the 1.50 I already had from the MR2. Apart from that, they sat tight to the disks when pushed to it. Ill test once again when the nuts come.

Just hope It doesnt drop when driving if I am wrong, cant think why something would happen though.
