My suspicion that the new Supra is sporting 3 spokes reminded me of a few styling errors I made in my youthful days as a Cortina Mk 3 owner. Can anyone better these :

 

Completely solid wheel trims which I painted body colour.

 

A huge 'Cortina' sticker on the back window (9" high letters) - so they were in no doubt what they were overtaking perhaps ? I don't know.

 

Fluffy dice that were colour coded to my fluffy seat covers (imitation tiger skin).

 

Just close your eyes and imagine it - pure class with Sabrina belting out of my 4 x 5 watt Goodmans (with auto reverse).

 

Never pulled in that car. Odd.

Now this is sad, I had a Mark 1 Escort at 17 with wait for it, jack up kit on rear and blacked out windows, (that orrible tint film stuff) had more bubbles in it than an aero bar! Coulnt be bothered to do the rear glass so I sprayed it with balck paint on the inside!!!!!!!!! Police loved me!

When was that...Last week?

ahh those were the days. Mk1 Astra 1.6 SR, blacked out windows, big Red 4inch bore back box, and a big old 12 inch memerox house speaker dumped in the boot. That car rocked!! all that bass distortion..

Not quite as bad as my friends Capri 1.6, shit brown and when he replaced the seats with black leather (ish) ones he decided to paint the interior with Ford gloss black from Halfords, we nearly died from fumes, but the worst was to come when the sunshine hit the cars interior, blinded by stupidity.

 

Still my purple mini 950 wasn't much better (weller wheels and most of halfords stick on depatment).
