Personally I prefer PC.

 

People are giong on about HD graphcis while PC have been doing higher than HD quality graphics for years.

 

Plus I dont want to pay £50 per game which it costs for an XBOX 360 game at the moment

£40 game play.com lol

 

They do look great and they look better than on my pc in full res.

That isn't a cheap set up and the xbox only cost £300ish i can't work that one out as it has quad core proccessor well so they say.

was watching project gotham 3 today at game store. Looked quite impressive apart from the fact it locked up. :x:

working my way through need for speed at the mo, am 6th on the black list, finished perfect dark zero yesterday and as for gamertag you'll find me under shodaw was gonna be shadow but i'd had a bit of a drink before i entered it

My PC kicks Xbox 360 ass! Only compared one game tho, Call Of Duty 2. My PC Does have the edge on detail graphics. But for the money the 360 is very good value at near top end PC graphics and multimedia accessibility.

homebrew, are you viewing the X360 in high definition? If so, the graphics are better than the PC and thats a fact, there are features such as heat haze which are in the 360 version but not the pc.

And no PC is better than a 360 hardware wise so don't even try and convince yourself that it is ;)

Yes m8 I downloaded the High Definition Video from the microsoft web site. COD2 on 360 is very good don't get me wrong, but it just didn't have the detail of the PC version. Mine you The GFX card in my PC is pretty good its a geforce 7800GT that has also been overclocked, and also a AMD FX 55 cpu. In the pc version you get the heat effect to and also a brilliant effect when you go in and out of dark and bright places, your eyes adjust to brightness there is so much detail in the PC version.

Give the PC a couple of months and a GFX card will come out that totally blows away anything seen now on the 360 or PC.

LOL - my PC graphics card cost more than a 360 :eek: Does show that it's excellent value for money though :bow:

I've never liked the first person shooter console games as the skill level is always dummed down to cope with the joypad being so slow. I must admit though I'm considering a console just for the car games and the fact that they are so much more social than PC games. Gone are the days when I have time to sit on a PC playing games on my own, I'd rather get the boys round and have a laugh on a console. Pc's will always be superior in the graphics and sound departments though simply because they are upgrading every month. I 'd love to know how good PGR is when someone starts playing it. It might make me go out and buy one! Dave

I have seen preveiws and these urinate all over PC stuff ;)

Consoles will NEVER compete in the gaming side of things compared to PC's

 

a prim example of this is the PRO gaming curcuit

 

hardly ANY pro gaming tournys for consoles compared to the PC curciut, Games for PC's more faster that for consoles.

That's because pc's are upgradable, Xbox would have to release a new 360 every month to keep up but at the moment games in High Definition on the 360 are better than 99% of pc's.

 

The Playstation 3 has got twice the megaflops as the 360 but the 360 is built as a media centre extension it's not just a games console and is very compatable with your pc, especially if your running Microsoft Media Centre on it.

 

Has any played with "Media Connect" on Xp Pro, in theory you should be able to link the 360 with your Pc, download it from the update site, think it's part of service pack 2 and start it as a service then you can play with it i wasn't too succesful as i gave up due too Dad being a penis and not letting fit a network point in the living room and Can't justify £70 for the wireless adapter.

 

My 360 is running via optical cable through my Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Fatal1ty FPS :hyper:

 

now sounds awsome aswell, King Kong is scary as i thought i was actually there and being chassed by a T-rex haha. cookoo cookoo :D
