I'm Want some vented front wings for my Z?? Are there any i should stay away from?? (bad quality,hard to fit etc)

I dont want to loose the gaps between bonnet - wing, wing -door, wing- bumper???

 

Anyone know which ones are best??? :confused:

z centre do viper front wings + vents. your zed looks very nice, wot suspension set up have you got because i want same ride height as yours.

I KNOW THESE ARNT FOR A Z BUT WHAT ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS??

Ok thanks anyway....Stillen do them on their website but not quite thin enough as the others look bulky.

Annnnyhow...back to the subject...

Vented wings...

Youre motor looks nice as it is mate but if you do get vented wings then dont worry about the strength factor being made from fibreglass as realisticly if you ding a fibreglass wing then you can fix it yourself with a bit of P40...lol

With a metal wing there a bit less likely to flex as much on slight impacts/knocks and youd have to replace the whole wing rather than fix it as the metal distorts.

And if your worried about the harder impact strength then a metal wing will be fooked as much as a Fibreglass one as they provide no strentgh whatever there made of.

I had the above said Viper wings and they will require the tops of the moulds to be smoothed as there are slight ripples in them.

But as you have to get them sprayed you have the work done then...no problem for a proper bodyshop ;)

Mine have a gap between the door and wings, had them proffesionally fitted aswell.

Yeh i had a bit of a gap but got around that by cutting a jubillee clip in half and self tapping one side to the car and one side to the Viper wing and screwing the clip until the gap closed to the line of the door.

Hi, yes I have got Viper wings and my best peice of advice I can give is : When having them fitted and sprayed take them to the very best bodyshop you know about no matter what the price as it "quality" that counts when fitting these wings. I got mine off Ebay, the bloke selling them was also something to do with the Z Centre I think. HTH

If you like z centres viper wings then ring me on 0115 967 6356.My viper front wings fit fine if fitted correctly by a good bodyshop.
