My daughter was due last New Years Eve. In the event she arrived on the 20th December, which was a nice surprise (shock, actually, as we were convinced she was going to be late ;) ) but made for quite a chaotic Christmas! My advice would be to not leave everything until the last minute, just in case!

 

Not very helpful, I know, but I thought I'd mention it. ;)

I bought mine a 97 volvo V40 estate couple of weeks ago and told her it was her xmas pressie. And I have one of those rampant rabbit thingies under the tree. :D (hope the kids don't open it first) :o Bet she still won't be satisfied :x:

Well i bought her a car about 2 months (B.M.W.) ago and told her early xmas pressie (she blew her astra up ) then got her the new nokia flip fone about 3 weeks ago (had to ask me mate to unlock ready for it to go on contract instead of P.A.Y.G) and told her xmas pressie, i have got her a stereo for the car (head and multi) and i am going to get her an mp3 player for the aux socket on it, loads of dvd,s loads of albums i am gonna get her a necklace i saw, and a trip to boots for all the haircare products she wants plus a trip to next for a few clothing items plus i have got a mate photoshopping 400+ pics of the kids and gonna get them put onto 6x4 glossies and put them into several albums for her and no boubt i will find other things to get her :( :eek: :( i must be fookin nuts !!!

I wish it was that easy she doesnt like me getting anything that makes the car more powerful, asthetics shes o.k. with but with my history of stickin two fingers up at the grim reaper far too much she gets worried !!!

I was thinking of a new saucepan set, or a new toaster as the one she has is cr*p...!!

Nothing. About the only joy of being single is not having to spend loads of money on your other half. :rofl:

There are other benefits such as peace and quiet but I suppose there are downsides at this time of year. I don't really enjoy Xmas but I like to see my son have fun and opening his presents. I also prefer to give than receive so enjoy buying things for friends and family..

Getting her a Digtal Camera and some of her favourite teddies. We never go crazy, just save money for clothes etc in the January sales.

 

Shes getting me a turbo timer though. :hyper: And I have ordered myself a dump valve for xmas present.

 

The best present you can buy is sexy underwear, cos they love it as a present but you get most use uut of it. :bow:
