what loss does the dyno have???? 50% :rofl:

 

I think its 95%. So lets see if my maths are correct i must have a loss of 653.6rwhp. So if we subtract that from 688 that gives 34.4rwhp. This exactly the horsepower i need to smoke your ass. :mac1:

I'm not bothered how much power mine produces, a dyno print out is sh1te and can be easily tweaked to produce more power than the car actually has.

 

In your case you must be using the US type of BS BHP

Man i dont know what to tell you. I have no reason to lie. I know that anyone can make up numbers and come here and show off but trying to conviece people about this dyno is not something i will put effort on.

 

We are running JWT ecu and if you can see our Air/Fuel is not the best you can get cause we did no tuning. We had only six runs and thats the numbers that the last run showed us. Even without NOS we got 608. We are close to sea level and there was a low pressure which was ideal for dynoing the car.

As much as i'd like to belive these figures - with your mods and set up it is theoretically impossible to get those kind of dyno figures unless the dyno was running no retard under load... I'm sorry... :(

Can you justify your argument? Why is impossible?

hang on a minute... thats showing 600 odd rwhp, that means it must be around 900 brake at the fly... i'm sorry but no fekking chance.. no way in this world

they are only figures, and i think a rolling road is only good too show the percentage increase in power from one state of tune to another. no point in reading anything into it other than that. fair play looks a nice car giving performance that he is happy with

You know what! I dont think that you are unfair. Thats what i was thinking long time back when i was at tt.net and somebody said that he did 744 on stock internals with NOS. I remember that time i call it BS. Then i went to SGP racing store web site that rates the TD-05 16G at 650rwhp. I call that BS also. I have seen several people since then at tt.net getting high horsepower cars without too much effort at TD-05's and stock internals.

 

We tried it and it worked. Hell...what you need to get those numbers? Pistons? Rods? Cams? You need to modify your engine internals for what reason? To give you extra horsepower? No...You need those to take the abuse in case something goes wrong. If the car detonates at that hp range with stock pistons then it goes boom...But what if doesnt..What if no detonation occurs.

 

As for MAC's comment about having TD-05 18G and getting only 504hp. I want to ask you only this. Are you happy with your numbers? Do a research and see what other people are getting at 1.4 bar on those turbos. I am sure that you expected much more than that because you know that they are capable for much more.

no where on that dyno run does it say RWHP either !!!

this thread make me laugh. I read the talk about wanting some big power zeds out there to show people the car. If this guy is producing this power (at the crank or the wheel) it is only to the good of people driving a zed, if he isnt, then he is only kidding himself. But why shoot him down? it is unlikely that it can be proven either way and, as said, all dynos read different with different characteristics. Well done mate, if it is genuine.

The only reason the car made 504 is the stock fuel pump maxed out,The guys that mapped it said there is more than 100bhp to get out even before we use race fuel.The car has alot more work to do yet, twin pumps are next on the list in 06.

I know. Ours is the same. That gives us around 825hp at the engine. But the dyno will give only what you did at the wheels. You have to multiply by 1.2 to get the engine hp.

 

 

Thats on a stock gearbox with OS Gicken Twin clutch kit.

 

Also you have to bear in mind that the dyno is not the only think you have to take into account. The dyno shop is no more than 1km from the sea. It was also 15-16 Celcious with low barometric pressure. Every little helps.

Regardless of the numbers mate, that's a *very* nice car you have there. Bet it goes like stink as well.

Why is it when somebody gets 600bhp out of a Skyline the figures are never disputed but when somebody does the same in a Z - it's a load of BS??

Its not that but if someone came on here saying he had some steel internal turbos on a skyline and getting 600 bhp i would say the same....sorry but no chance!!

 

Also 600 bhp in a skyline is common so not so much as a raised eyebrow!
