as above did you notice any differance with the pump removed (performance). what belts would i have to used once the pump has been removed and does anyone have any info on how to remove all parts concerning the AC e.g rad,pump,pipes

if you can reach them or have cutters big enough yes. the pipes on the right hand side of the engine bay are pretty solid though.

My Zed has the aircon and cruise control taken out as well as some other bits. I'd definately do it on any future Zeds. I'm going to make sure the heater matrix is fixed though!

It doesnt affect performance. If you floor the throttle the aircon compressor drops out anyway so you get all the power thats going. Sure when its on it uses a little fuel and especially when stuck in traffic but on the open road it hardly uses any.

 

Maybe a little weight saving if you junk it but if it works well leave it alone.

 

You can always switch to econ.
