Right then, last night, it was the SW xmas bash.

 

There was this waitress. Late 20's I'd imagine. Not a supermodel by anymeans, but tidy. But there was just something nice about her. Couldn't put a finger on it. Not sure what it was, her smile? Eyes...dunno.

 

Anyway. We smilied at each other for quite a bit of the night. She said hello a few times. But I just didn't have the guts to ask her out. Felt a right tit walking past her as I went home last night.

 

What do I do????? Knock it on the head or go back and ask her for a drink??

 

I have almost zero confidence when it comes to women due to the way I've been treated and what's happened in the past.

I know how you feel bud. It was the same with me when I split from my wife. I had absolutely NO confidence left at all, it really took the wind out of me. But a (lady) friend of mine just told me to get out there, with, as hellraiser said, "What have you got to loose." So i thought, well she's right, at worst they can only turn you down. Accept it, and move on, well it worked I had a lot of fun being social, even if I didn't get my leg over :rofl:

good luck mate. there was this barmaid i really had the hots for - had a brief chat and flirt each time me and the lads went in but never got the courage up to ask her out. finally thought, "right im going to come up with some crap like asking her nicely how the hell do you ask a barmaid out for a drink?", but didnt get the chance to ask her cos she left and never saw her again.

Just go back to the place, but on the same day this/next week. That way she'll probably be at work again. If she's there, give it the "didn't I see you last week?" stuff.

Right then, filled up the dirty diesel and drove down to the Restaurant.....couldn't find her....so left.... :(

 

.....on the way back I thought ROLLOCKS TO IT!!!!! so phoned up 118118 and asked for the number of the Restaurant.

 

I called....she couldn't remember me. :(

 

 

 

 

 

 

.....then she did!! LOL It was rather busy there...anyway, she took my number and said she'd deffo go out for a drink!!! Wooohooo
