I would have let them charge my son just to see the judges face when it came to court then sue for wrongful arrest...idiots. A distinct lack of common sense...

just goes to prove my beliefs that the police and justice system in this country are all feckin useless

yep...common sense is not so common nowadays!!!

Sorry but

Whatta piss take!!

These are the same cops we trust to look after our safety and uphold the law!!!!

Abso-fookin-lutely unbelievable...

And they wonder why there is a void between the cops and the public? It is the same void that is between the cops and common sense!!!

Dimwits...

Agree with all the comments here, but there is another side to the story as always.

This time its reported the child was closely supervised, but thats not always the case.

Ive seen kids around the same age around my area out with their "toys" and mum or dad watching from the end of the road. kids that age can barely walk 10 yards in a staight line let alone be allowed to control a motorised toy next to a road. ffs in a blink of an eye they could end up as another tragic statistic.

another thing how would you like one of the little lovelies loseing it and scrapping up the side of your pride and joy parked at the side of the road.

Yep the cop maybe went around things the wrong way, but these things should be kept for gardens and parks.

This country is going/gone tits up big time

I agree mate, they should have just gave the kid 6 points and a hefty fine. ;)

I aint having that. If thats true the copper needs shooting. No wonder respect for the police is on a decline. :x:

Once again the motorist is an easy target, while some little scrote was probably round the corner, beating up a pensioner for a fiver!!!

wtf!!!

it is unreal some of the things that happen in this godforesaken country sometimes -

love this reply tho!

Thank goodness for our vigilant police. This dangerous lawbreaker could easily have caused distress or even injury to an unsuspecting burglar fleeing the scene of a robbery - or caused a traffic accident by causing a passing motorist to break out in laughter upon seeing the toddler "pulled in" for questioning!

if he can honestly talk to a fookin todler like that then what must he do when he sees the oaps on their death machines???

The kid ought to thank his lucky stars he wasn't on a motor bike. He would have been fooked for sure. Especially with an illegal sized No. plate lol

Agreed!

Actually, having read what happened and assuming it's not been completely sensationalised, I think the void is between this cops ears.

I cant believe the grandfather stood there and took it, the little lad must have been terrified. The temptation to slap the tw@t must have been immense
