try speelab i think i saw them on the site i cant remeber

guinea pig, guinea pig :)

i have been toying with this idea as well...

but, after the ongoing problems they seem to have had, it would be a bit difficult to get it fixed from here...

the NA and TT don't have the same diff coupling (i think), as well as them being different lengths.

This all points to some big opportunity to get the wrong thing...

Just spoke to John at Driveshafts.com. (don't know if ne1 has already done this). $340 to have one made up. This is a one peice ally joby weighing 12-13 lbs. This comes balanced. He has apparently succesfully made up one before for a Swedish customer on a TT 2+2. GB?

Sweedish customer, Could that be a certian Mr Z Viking by any chance ?? give him a mail and see if you want feed back.

Personally i dont see the point unless you have worn U joints, in which case i would deffinatly make sure that you change your transmission mount at the same time!!!

As for the lightened ones i would seriously be carefully of those, i have heard from a lot of the americans that have them they are prone to serious balancing problems.

If you are having vibration problems from the drive line on a older car i would seriously suggest changing both the Center Support bearing and the Tranny mount, it will cost ya bout 200 quid for both from Nissan UK, a Lot cheaper from the states.

It is easy DIY if you have a Jack and Stands.

Adrie has this one piece drive shaft made by Powertrain.

There was a big GB going on in the U.S and I think some are still waiting for theirs to arrive!

Maintaining balance during shipping maybe a problem though.
