Its a pain to get to. Drivers footwell, tucked in behind the accelerator pedal. You will find its all in Japanese too. ;)

But there aint a fuel pump fuse down there :D

mate you need to take off plastic panel, which holds fuse cover 2/3 screws behind gas pedal and 1/2 kickplate once cover is off you will see fuel relay green/yellow in colour.

I will have a look at the relay in a min, i can normaly hear the pump prime when i go to start her, but its no longer doing that.

So its most likely to be relay or fuel ECU?

Thanks for the help and links guys

been out..... again! shorted out the fuel pump control unit and nothing, checked the fuse and its fine, the relay is clicking, so im coming to a somewhat depresing conclusion that my pump is fooked!

is there any other tests i can do or am i just going to have to save for a pump?

why is it cars always go tits just beffore christmas :headvswal :(

Worth checking your alarm+immob if they arm/disarm properly.

haven't got one mate! does anyone know where the power leads are for the pump? i can always hook up a 12v bulb to se if it lights up when the pump should come on

Take out the spare bud, there's a srewed down panel, remove that and you should see a plate with wires and fuel hoses attached.

if you remove that, the sender/pump assy all comes out together.

Follow the leads off the pump and check like you said-do it away from the open tank tho'!! ;)

If your pump is dead I have one but JUST the pump!-i.e it needs soldering to the mounting plate!-but it's deffo good!! :D
