I was told you got to take the front bumper off to do it properly?

 

Sounds like a pain in the butt.

 

They look nice tho so probably worth the effort with results like that?

so when you doin mine?? i got a tenner spare oh and half a burger..

I have taken my lights off the car today, I was quite suprised only took me 35 mins, I am now in the process of stripping them and deciding whether or not I can afford to have them chromed at the excellent price I have managed to get...

what did you use to clean them with???

 

is regular glass cleaner ok?

well this post has just prompted me to get off my arse and do something so i just put my new inserts in!!

Have taken apart the lights now and cleaned them wow what a difference, the magnifying lense was a right git to get off but got it off and cleaned that as well, now I have got to decide if chroming light inners will make a difference to the light output or whether its just bling??

And this is the real reason ZX headlights have a reputation for being crap ;)

 

Nice one fella - fit HIDs too and you'll really be able to see at night.....

I am really happy with the way mine have come out, they are like brand new lights, I am fitting the lights and H.I.D units back in tommorow, should make a hell of a difference. :D

Certainly looks it! Ive not had a chance to test them out on the road yet, but they were fookin bright when i turned them on! A lot whiter looking than they were too. I reckon they will be a hell of a lot better. :)
