I just read this on another forum, terrible news. From what Ive gathered he died of a brain tumour, I never even knew he was ill! Always happens to the best of 'em eh :(

Oh no, that's terrible. I knew he'd given up racing a couple of years back, but I thought there was talk of him coming back next year.

Oh crap. He was a star. And a young man too. I'm sad to see he lost his long fight. I knew he had it a while ago, but thought he retired from rallying because he got over it and needed a rest. :(:(

Yep, RIP. Only 34 as well, it's terrible.

Caught a glimpse of him @ the rally day @ castle

coombe earlier this year, looked really ill then.

He will be sadly missed, a natural talent & a great

british champion.

Sadly he won't get any of the recognition he

deserves, as his death will be overshadowed by

george best's death.
