ok i need to replace my screen wash, i have bought 1 litre of concentrate as i have just water in there at the moment.

 

now it says add 10% in summer and 25% in winter, ok well what in simple plank terms do i pour into my screen wash tank in relation to water, lets talk pints..

 

say half a pint to 3 pints? or what..

 

please educate a dumb ass today!!

to be honest si your prob better off mixing it a little more than 25% in this weather i'd go about 50% to help stop freezing

That's not quite right: that would be 20%. 25% screenwash is 3 parts water to 1 part screenwash. So 3 pints of water for every pint of screenwash. You might, as already pointed out want to use a bit more screenwash than this as it's winter.

yea id go for 50/50 mate, then you can use it as a de-icer in the mornings if its good stuff!

I use turtle wax "liquid fire" or something like that, you just stick it in with ur washer fluid and hey presto, no need to scrape the ice off ur windscreen!

It's allright: I completely screwed up the calculation of my rolling radius earlier when looking at new tyres so I wouldn't worry. Used the diameter of the wheel rather than the radius: what a doofus.
