Does anyone have an Air Flow Meter???

If so, how much do you want for it? I rekon that mine might be knackered! (I hope!!!)

Thanks,

Shaun

Well, I have both an S13 & a 300zx. Both of which are Foooked!!!

An adjustment plug on the AFM? Where is that then because I can't see one.

I'm probably being thick here but what's a Scooby?

Okay, look on your S13 AFM on 1 side is a black plug/bung, behind it is anjustment screw, you usually drill it out, but be carefull it's very soft alloy, Nissan did this to prevent people messing about with the mixtures too easily, on the Zed AFM is the same plug, but recessed in a bit, i'm assuming that it has to be for same reason, cos there is no other possible.

the subaru impreza early model used the same AFM as the Zed, so that should help. but why do you think they are fooked ??

Because when I unplug it, the system works OK, not only that, there are no air leaks in the system. It idles like s*** & when I drive it it drives like s*** until it gets really warm.

I don't know really, I'm just grasping at straws, it's doing my head in, I've had nothing but trouble from near enough day one. I always seem to be fixing some major problem on it!

I doubt this will cure your problem but its one hell of a lot cheaper than an AFM and is dead simple. You could try resetting the ECU - simply disconnect the battery for 30 mins and then reconnect and try the car again.... Like I say this is the cheapest option at the moment, cos its free wink.gif
