course you can , looks a like a ******* of a job tho

Take the dash off bud. Its much easyer than mucking about under the dash. I had an auto and was shit of a job untill i took out the dash. Its not that bad taking it out, looks like hell but its ok.

I've got a new one thats been lying in the box since I bought the car. Its getting a bit cold on the long journeys now. Can't wait till February! Dave

If it's a manual then either take the clutch pedal out or the dash, have done 2 to date, started doin mine without removing the dash but used a primera matrix in the end so had to take the dash out. can take dash out change matrix and replace dash in about 6 hours..........did freestyle_col's a couple of weeks ago in the same time. the clutch pedal can be a bitch to get out.

hope this helps

I replaced mine using the guide , mines an auto , found it a piece of p155 , the only awkward screw to get to is the one inbetween the pipes going through the bulkhead ( you need hands like a 5 year old ) but even having the dash out doesn,t help with that one :headvswal .
