Hey everybody, I just wanted to know if their is anything wrong with putting 19" rims on a 300ZXTT. Will the car be running ok. Will it fit ok?. I am planning to get the fittings shaved if I have to.

Thanks a lot.

they will fit fine, but be prepared for a backbreaking ride and maybe some tramlining if you put big tyres on the front

yep gets a bit bumpy and as said they

do tramline a bit

HI mate ive got 8.5 on front and 9.5 on back and use 2353519/2653019 on standart suspension no problems wot so ever at full lock or rubbing. just make sure theres enough clearance from front calipers you might have some probs with certain designs.

Nice ride. Thanks for the reply

Alright, thanks. Do you think it will be ok if I ran 18's on the front and 19's on the back.

should be ok so long as your tyre diameters arer the same, otherwise it will screw up the ABS

I think they will be ok on a zed..........but do not put them on a ROBIN.... they tend to fook up a bit on the front end.....IMHO. ;)

19" are fine except for the hard ride. I run 30 & 35 profiles and have no rubbing problems and handling is superb.....

Mind you, I now have several very loose fillings! :D

im using 19" with 8.5 wide front and 9.5 with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 ride isnt much worse than when i had my 18's! and they look ace :hyper:

Hi 3 Hun ed

I think that the hard ride if its seen as a problem is fixable.

Consider all the Gt type cars that have 19s now Jags / BMW etc have low profiles and only slightly harder ride.

I would say if you get shocks that have a low enough pre-load ( pre load is the amount of compression the spring is put under from the coilover not from the weight of the car), I think the Z is 4 kg standard, then you will get compliance.

I have ordered 19s with 235/35 or 40 & 275/30 or 35 the larger profile to give enough tyre wall height plus G-Force Coilovers with 4/5 KG preload and then adjustable shock rates...I am hoping that the ride will be OK for the road.

Has anyone tried 235/40 front and 265 or 275/35 rear ???

This is an experiment and Ill let you all know but from the guys responses here it seems that all will be OK.
