I've not long had it, i's a '90 fairlady, fat exhausts and wheels and apart from that it's supposed to be standard.

However it's running 14 pounds (on the std guage) which seems like alot. Anywhere I can go to find out exactly what has been done if anything?

I guess all the bits on it that shouldn't be there would be a give away for me...sorry sarcasm seems to be good this morning since I have only had one coffee...lol

take it to a local zed specialist ( ztech or zen garage ) and get them to give it the once over.

ahh, but they are obvious if you know where to look ;)

It probbaly has boost jets, and hopefully a Remapped ECU.

In the passenger footwell pull the carpet back and remove the bit of wood so that you can see the ecu. see if it has anything other than Nissan on it. Do a search for boost jets so you know which pipes they go into and then check those pipes to see if it already has some.

the stock gauge could be out....most have aftermarket one's fitted usually coupled with a turbo timer....see blitz etc

Couple of things you say it has 14 on the standard gauge  but if it is a fairlady then its a Jap and they only show -7 and +7 so me thinks someone has either put UK clocks on or you got a UK car which has 14- and 14+ on it any way.

Doesnt mean to say you are running 14 PSI, i would check this out first bud ;)
