I wonder if anyone can help or advise me about a power steering niggle that has recently developed. I have a 91reg Z auto NA, and it's been a dream for the last 3 years, no real problems. Just recently I've noticed the PAS cutting out at low revs or when I start her up, however get her up and going and it soon sorts itself out.

It doesn't do it all the time just intermittently over a period of about a month now??

Obviously not many ppl out there who can help...oh well never mind. :(

can be a lot of things...

start by checking fluid level in the PAS reservoir .

other causes: a defective pressure sensor, solenoid, control unit or a pas-pump that's on it's way out.

at least you gave everyone OVERNIGHT to reply before whinging!! It's usually the speed sensor or a poorly wired convertor that screws up the speed signal (as power steering is speed-sensitive).

Do a search - there's loads been posted about this.
