I've been talking to Mac about becoming a trader for Racelogic Traction Control and their range of accessories. I'd be looking to offer their products at a discount to club members with the possibility of group buys if there is enough interest.

I'll also be offering an installation and setup service!

Full details about the system can be found here

I've got brake discs and pads to buy first, but what sort of price are you looking at? Does anyone on here use this? I must admit it looks like the one thing that might be of use to me. Is it completely adjustable ie you can turn it off completely if you don't want to use it (say for instance you wanted to throw the rear around for some drifting fun).

Interested out of curiosity. Dave

Just want to say that I have the RLTC and its fantastic.

lots of different options on this. you can turn it right off & it is adjustable also. you can also "fine tune" it via a laptop (or i believe the new style controller)

its a race system designed for the track & once setup properly is bloody fantastic!! :bow:

Dave, pricing for a single unit would be as follows:

(RRP) -> Member

Traction Control 6 Cylinder (£616.88) -> £567.50

Traction Control 6 Cylinder with Launch (£699.13) -> £643.20

Traction Control 6 Cylinder with Launch & Digi Adjust (£851.88) -> £783.73

Prices include VAT. Delivery will be approximately £10 per order.

There is scope for volume pricing on these so a group buy would definitely bring these down further.

Are you able to give an approx. figure incl. fitting???

Sounds like a decent mod to me

You made it a secret poll so how are you going to know who wants what? I am interested in have it fitted. Would like to know how much?

Sounds like it would be a must for those rainy days ahead.

Thanks Vince.

Fitting will be approx £150 depending on distance to travel and options required. This will include full configuration of wheel sizes, slip control, minimum operating thresholds and launch control. You can view and change your settings using a laptop or the optional Digital Adjuster.

This isn't so much a group buy sceanario, more of a straw poll. I don't want anyone to feel obligated if their vote is made public. A private poll usually gets a more genuine response IMHO ;)

Yes, the digital adjuster is an excellent feature.

More info on the launch control feature can be found here

i would be interested at a later date

no spare money at mo

full throttle shift is also another option for manual owners

Has anyone got this fitted???

If so what difference did it make??

just a quick question, if you buy the standard one, then the digital adjuster, does this give you launch as it seems to suggest this.

Have to say this is probably the best mod you can fit to your car

I've had this fitted for 4 years and its one of the best mods you can do.

Makes the car so much more driveable in bad conditions and gives you confidence to push harder in the dry as if it starts to slide it's under control.

Set it to 20% slip and floor it out of every junction you come to for the perfect power slide every time :D

ill be interested in the near future ,,full works for me ,,,theres a saying,,, if your

going to do something then do it right
