what kind of bhp do you suggest before installing a front mounted intercooler?

lol. cool. basically i want it at the moment for looks. if i put one on the car i wouldnt need to get the ecu chipped would i? and if any, what kind of power increase would i be looking at?

Not to mention the cost - why bother unless you're running serious power :confused:

 

If it's just for looks it's not worth it - spend your money elsewhere........

IIRC your tubbies are more laggy with a FMIC as there's more pipework - probably not as noticeable with high horsepower. they do look rather good tho :cool:

Zero Extra Lag

DO searches on the US 300ZX sites. There is a lot of information there about it

 

Search for 'FMIC SMIC' and it gives you quite a good selection of results.

i had a hks front mount and i never noticed and extra lag and lets face it its about 3 inches of extra pipework so not exactly lots more :)
