Cheap as chips ! Looks like it will just bolt straight onto the AFM. No need to make any ECU changes.

Cheap as chips !

For a reason, its pap

Is pap a technical term for inferior quality?

:smash: :smash: Me thinks it means C.R.A.P :rofl:

And if it is that cheap then it is C.R.A.P :x:

Its cheap, its just a generic form filter, with a Z32 Maf fitment. You cant gaurantee its flow charcteristics. Personall I'd pay more(Apexi kits from DTA are about £95) for a proven/tested product.

What about the K&N ones? Are they any better?

avoid eBay ones mate. K&N are generally good (better on european cars i suppose). ApexI powerflows are going at a very reasonable price at the moment.

I bought the scooby version a while back and the adaptor was a "universal" jobby. Only 2 of the holes lined up properly which is not good. Speaking through experience I'd avoid theese at all costs.

Steer clear of old TAT, some filters let through small particles of dust this then hits the turbo blades dents them and knocks them out of balance, lots of money at a garage then spent!

What am I saying please buy them :D

iv seen a similar filter called airinx i think, again on a customers car the whole element of a hks mushroom filter was missing which unfortunatly killed a set of td 16gs turbos so stay clear, apexi by far more better quality-and have been tested to be best for filtration

the seller does K&N versions too.

Can someone clear something up for me...to put a new cone filter in you just remove the old box, i guess separate the MAF from it? and connect the new filter to the rubber pipe that splits to each side and leave the MAF hanging? no... sorry, my mistake, the MAF stays connected to the rubber pipe and the new filter connects to the other end..is that right? anyone got a picture?

so the MAF comes away from the filter box and you end up with a tube?

Leave MAF connected to pipe/car. You just disconnect the old filter box from the MAF, and bolt the new Filter onto the Maf.
