ok its a replica but i dont care.. its a prova kit car and now i dont have to blow 30k on a torero. so this will do me for a while!

 

i am going to refer the guy to this club, hell i may even pay for his membership , i will still be a member here and will come to the meets, just not in a zed..

 

however knowing how cursed i am knowing me it will fall through!!

Bit of a crazy choice there buddy! makes the Z look normal(ish)

Will you be driving it everyday?

im takin a mechanic with me when i goto inspect the car, if its not upto what he said then it stays there... simple as that!

 

but otherwise the gearbox needs checking the guy was honest about that with me..

 

as for driving it everyday.. you gotta be joking!!! i couldnt afford it!

but there we go.. it wont be as expensive to fix as the zed.

 

yes i know i might be fkn crazy but i gotta see what its like...

 

i put off my torero kit car when i got the zed, now i got the chance to have a kit car and to do what i want to it.. i dunno its always been a fancy of mine to have a nice kit car and have one to work on also

Thats a fecking good replica! Have to be a very trained eye to spot the difference. I love the retro lambo.

i think it's class, but it's going to be better watching you trying to got in and out.

Best of luck with it If you buy it,but I bet you get pissed off with it very quick,a kit car will always be a kit car and they usally have about 15 owners in the first few years.

They look great until you drive them had a mate with a 911 and a marcos and were nasty to drive.

this is a bleesing for me and a bit of a boyhood dream come true, but hey.. the deal aint done yet i have to check it over.. if its a no-goer then i just drive away and keep the zed...

 

otherwise i will be coming to meets in that. i cant not keep in touch with you all.. i have learned more than i could imagine and made friends whom i never would have.

 

this place is more than a community its a family that looks out for each other and offers support when needed.. how do you turn your back on that??

yea naz built his own countach before he started parallel, so im gonna speak to him anyway, i will need a set of the pepperpot alloys for the car, it has got the countach spiked set on at the moment but thats ok witm me ;)

Nice one mate! The Countach has always been, and always will be, my favourite shape in a car. Just a shame the real ones are a bit of a 'mare to live with.

i did try contacting the owner and after over 8 emails and no reply i thought.. fk im!!

 

there was one on ebay last month a yellow one that needed a bit of work to it, in cheltnham i was interested in that but i got messed about..

this guy is serious and seems straight about it and parts are cheap as well as the insurance!!

 

other thing is the real countach is prone to clutch problems and they are getting harder to find spares or replacements.

 

however the one im getting has a chevy v8 and a porsche gearbox etc.. so parts are easy to get hold of, and as the engine is an idlebrock im sorted for spares or hep from them in the states.

 

Also there is the lamboreplicas uk club and i have now got the contact details for one of the guys at mirage who built the countach replicas and then went to prova. Also NAZ at parallel is a great source of help on these so im ok..
