anyone think much of those touring car mechano-style boot spoilers. I'm going to take my rubber lump off and was thinking of getting one from demon tweeks. Anyone fitted one and got pics?

You sold yer Z and bought a saxo???????

Nasty orrible things. Let the corsa's and saxo's kiddies keep them.

All IMO ofcourse ;)

Each to their own bananaboat but if you are asking what I think then I am going to be honest with you and say they look a fookin mess and should only be fitted by the Macdonalds carpark brigade, but if you like them then fook what people think and buy your self one.

...just asking lads, i'm not a big fan i must admit.

Any recommendations for what looks good?, come on lads lets see what trolly handles you got!

I started a post the same as this a little while ago with mixed results

Clicky Clicky

I think I'm gonna go smooth, with a tailskin. I have no spoiler at the mo, but the tailskin gives a nice small subtle raised lip across the @ss end, Ask Cadpaul ;)

Subtle is the key IMO, although I do love some of the mad kits out there.

A high wing well designed will give you more downforce, but how do you/we know how much we need ????

Without wind tunnels and/or track testing time and aerodynamic skills..???

So its a styling thing..personally I wouldnt bother, I think its the wrong car for high wings and looks a bit trashy

Opinion only :)

Mine :hyper: :D

Only 3 options worth considering IMHO.

99spec spoiler, looks fantastic, updates the look of the car.

Skin spoiler as per silver one above

OR remove the spoiler and have a smooth boot like mine.

Mechano spoilers are generally hideous.

Well i got one like chris but will be having it removed soon to just the tail gate skin that is already there  back to the smooooooooth look of the Zed

Ref the Tin spoiler...:nono: What Mac said each to there own.....:hurl:

That ones mine... as said not to every ones taste.... but i like it!

That's what its all about mate :)

You could probably make one for a tenner? A bit of conduit and half a mechano set? IMO. they make the car look like you couldn't afford a proper spoiler. As I said...IMO.

its just the type of look you want for your car, im going for the drift look so wanted a "shoping trolly" each to there own guys!!

I think i might go commando and have nothing, deffo won't go for the mechano style i agree with you all!

I think the car looks slick without a spoiler
