I have the time and the access to having prototype stuff built so its all very interesting....as above theres some bits on here:-

They mention the gear driven type you mentioned that will produce oooommmmppphhhh at about 1k rpm...

but by the sounds of it they run out at about 7k so the turbos to carry on the work would be handy...

I just couldnt even envisage trying to fit coolers tubs and supercharger in the bay...were talkin some major relocation of bits...bearing in mind the weight distribution so that'll have to be given some serious consideration.

Nameingly into the front of the nose....relocating the rad like the DBRs9 at a 45o angle to vent through the bonnet and not back onto the engine...theres quite a bit of space there once shuffled about...all though the weight from the kit and the power sapping SCharger would dent the overall figures but I think a Dual system would fookin shift whatever the revs...

And then you add the Noz :nana2:

(although I think the noZ factor will need to be considered for the engine boreing)

how can it run out at a certain rev range if the engine is going faster the the charger must be spinning faster.If its more boost you want then get a bigger charger with more boost and play arround with the pullie sizes to get your ideal output

I have a vid of a supercharged 350Z that threw a rod and done some nasty damage Its on my other hard drive,I will have to dig it out.

what else do you need to know i read loads of books and spoke to loads of specilists to find out about them before i set upon an astra gsi and theres that many bolt on kits in the states but over here its takin off a bit mainly because they are better on fuel than turbos and can help out with the engines life expectancy suprisingly. tts do a kit for the civic type r which on standard internals can put out almost 300bhp for £3000 fitted

Well i know the old pre WW2 Mercedes and Auto Unions (Audi) use to push 4 bar or 60psi boost.

you might be able to fit the 350Z HKS supercharger kit to a 300

Not really, boost is controlled by the size of the supercharger pulley

superchargers normally don't have a wastgate, so there's no real way to limit the boost

Might help on the 0-1000rpm scale but anything past that and it would be struggling to keep up with a conventional supercharger...electronic ones just dont cut the Mustard..lol

Have a look for 300zx aftermarket parts too theres Plenty and there price's are Great :)

procharger go upto 40 psi dont know what rotrex go upto try ringin gmc motorsport they will tell you what they can do and sort a price out 4 you.

in jap performance mag they do a book on super charging and so do demon tweeks both quite good. They give you formulas to work out best pully size and ways in how to fit it to the car. As for boost control you can buy a valve that you tap into your inlet manifold which opens when boost reeches 2 high to stop every thing going bang dont think you can ajust it inside though only way is to tap into the intake after the blower and use a control vavle (2 way)like they have for turbos to release pressure if the pies hold under the kinda presure your after is something else !
