I have been thinking about new wheels, and spending more than I can really afford.... but still thinking about buying them!

 

I have had a look on the rides and quite a few people have these:

 

 

and the nearest I can find to them is WheelMania Vortex wheels. Is this anywhere close, or are they ones I should recognise on sight? Either these or I was going to go for another set of Kahn RSRs. Or maybe:

 

 

I like these a lot at the moment. I used to hate split rims, but I have grown to love them, only are they a lot more expensive than one-piece? Are there any I could get for £800/£1000 or so. I remember getting a set of Azev Ms with khumo tyres fitted for £800, but I don't fancy them for a zed. Was that a good price?

I really like the Azevs in the bottom pic too. Not keen on the others though.

Love the Wheelmania Vortex's, Im leaning towards splitrim multi's as my next wheel choice.

 

Those Azev's are the ones fitted to gregs, and I think it really suits it too.

I always liked my old ones, even thought they were just 17s they were all I needed - they gave a nice ride, I thought.

 

The Azevs I got were a pretty fantastic price. I wonder if I could get them at that price again... They look good on Greg's car - nice deep dish. I don't know - I think having the Superleggeras on the car have made me go towards multi-spoke wheels.

Cheers Ya5een - already talked to Scottywil about his wheels - I just don't know if I want something different to the last zed or not. Just looked back at the Azevs again and I like them a lot.

That is a VERY nice car - I think I have seen that on cardomain.com before. The wheels are nice too - not too flimsy looking, but you can still see the brakes.

 

I saw these on eBay and I like the look of them - any good?

I very breifly had black chrome wheels on mine. I just thought it was a bit too much. Would have looked stunning on a silver zed though. Not too keen on white wheels either.

What do you think of these?

 

Are they a good price? Half decent wheels? Seem to be the correct fitment. I thought they looked quite good if I got half decent tyres.

I like them. They suit the zed too. There are a few guys on the forum with similar wheels.
