Yes the manual speed sensor is longer than the one fitted to an auto, definately NOT interchangable.

Cheers Jeff found this out when I rang Courtesey, there is also 2 types for the late 89 and early 90, two diferent part numbers! will have to check vin number

Nissan parts fiche shows two options for the sender on a manual but goes back to a single part number.

ahhhh sry misread thought it was a manual got mine for 97 quid plus vat
