There was some info on wheel refurbing fairly recently, I don't think they were particularly near London but a company from Birmingham got recommended.

try a search...

I think Paul C and others recommend Lepsons - do a search and I'm sure some info will come up about them Karl

I have used Lepsons..1 week turn around collect/remove/refurb/refit/balance/return 50 a wheel (depends on wheel I guess)

50 quid????????

per wheel??????

You have got to be having a giraffe.

I pay £25 plus VAT for refurb and powder coat per wheel.

Refurb is what it says - any repairs such as dents, scuffs, dings made good, alloy weld if needed to cracks, filling, then powder coating.

The guys I use are engineers who primarily service the oil indusrty.

They kinda fell into the wheel refurb market by chance.

Discovered the equipment they used was what was required to do wheels and got into it.

Sometimes feel they regard wheels as "easy jobs" which is probably right having seen some of the equipment they restore and service.

Good guys
