Not Subscribed will be next WED (Pay Day)

you can go to Houghtons...i was speaking with them about my family car earlier today....Zeds cover should be no problem with your age etc....if its going to be a daily drive / 1st car you will pay more...if you get 2nd car/classic cover your no claims bonus doesn't even matter anymore...:)

ive just had a quote for £496 from firstalternative, im 29 (on sat :)) 4 years ncb, 3 points and a 92 uk tt

£330, Carole Nash Classic car policy, 5000mls a year. 33yo, Oxford. Does not require any no claims discount. No accidents or claims. 2nd car.

They also do jap imports on the same type of policy.

I'm 29 years old and renewed yesterday,390 fully comp,SDP+Commuting, using the Zed on a daily basis, full NCB and protected all with Bell Direct or known as Bell.

have you tried Lifesure? http://www.lifesure.co.uk

very good.

Houghtons are a slight bit more than last yr for me £312.96 for full comp all mods declared on classic 5000 miles a yr ;)

Benn quoted £900+ by Adrian flux....:xxx:

Yeh the £996 was from Adrian Flux

Do I have to have another car for classic insurance?

I have got one but its registered and insured by our Lass

You do need to have a 2nd car mate yes, it does help and you cant use it for work only Soc,dom and pleasure....only down fall if your mrs uses the other car...:(

i use to pay £550 fully comp , now ive declared all the mods ive had ( and there is shite loads ) now pay £1500 but thats with a guarenteed minimum value of £15k if i write it off and a replacement on a like to like basis in the event of an accident !! So dam good i think !!!

£285 fully comp, unlimited mileage - I'm old and it's an NA - Tesco - bit the blokes arm off...

Is yours an import fella ?? if so make sure they know as you wont be insured other wise, tesco have let a few people down with this.:( :nono:

Certainly made that clear - and I suppose I was lucky as the bloke I dealt with knew all about Z's as his brother has one.

I insured with Tesco about 5 years ago when I first got the Z and I recon (with hindsight) that if anything had happened, I wouldn't be insured as they'll have had it as a Z31, and not a Z32. Fortunately nothing happened, but when I came to re-insure it (and made it perfectly clear that it was a jap) they declined the business.

Thing is - in that first year the brakes didn't work - so I learnt to drive a Z as though it wouldn't stop. Took me 6 months to sort it - along with a few other items...

BUT - Zelda's my favourite. If you ever sell her, please give me first refusal.

cheerz

I've just had a quote for one, how does £650 fully comp from Carole Nash with zero NCB and unlimited miles sound? It's a standard policy, so NCB will build up on that. They won't put an import on a classic policy other wise it'd be about £300! The NCB is used on my day to day car at the mo.

thats a good quote - I am over 40, 70% NCB and pay £650 with declared mods of exhaust and intake
