Finally back to zedding again as Ive just bought a black 94 TT. Had a UK spec TT but got written off in 2003 :cry: and couldnt resist the urge to get another one.... :dance:

 

Anyway when I had my old zed had her looked after by Grasshopper in Wigan, but the new zed needs a 60k service and there must be some reputable garages closer to home who have some experience of the zed.. Suggestions welcomed.

 

B.T.W Dick300 are you still on the site and do u still have ur 300???

The Garage in Wishaw should be able to help

RJM in glenrothes are pretty good too.

 

Dick300 pops on every now and again. Still got the zed as far as im aware.

Hi Ronnie - welcome back!

 

The car's off the road at the moment, having the engine rebuilt (cracked piston) but should have it up an running by the end of October.

 

Re - garages, I've always used Hypertech in Bonnybridge. I've known Duncan for years and although he's not a Z specialist I know he looks after about 6 in the Falkirk area. For more the specialist work, like having the Engine rebuilt, I'm using Ryan at Ztech.

Note - there have been 2 zeds lying outside The Garage in Wishaw for over 2 months and they haven't moved. Don't know the script, but it looks bad to have these type of cars lying outside gathering dirt for so long.

Thanks Steve, will have to buy a new set of 99 spec lights soon. :)

 

Colin, of course i forgot about Hypertech (they replaced the autobox on the old one) will probably take her there. Just need a basic service at the moment, dont actually pick her up till this weekend. Car is a J-spec, standard except 17 inch alloys. Lots of things to do....strosek wide arse...19`s...Z-centre retrim...exhaust...intercoolers and the list goes on!
