Hi anyone know where i can find pixs for centre console removal as i want to change the gearstick and handbrake gaitors

Featured Replies

dont think there is a write up anywhere but from memory you have to remove the radio surround first - 4 screws (1 in each top corner and 2 behind centre strip)

then there are 2 screws under that which were hidden by the centre console, also a couple of screws in the armrest box under the mat

then just give it a pull to see where its being held down and remove any other screws

Not sure about pics but its pretty easy.

First remove the radio surround, by pulling out the two screw covers at the top, undo those screws. Then pull off the plastic strip that runs along top of the TOP din, and undo those 2 screws. Then pull out the whole thing out (its clipped in at bottom).

Once removed, you will see 2 screws underneath for the main (gearstick) area of dash, and there is also one under the Ash tray. Once removed, pull out. (it clipped in various other places, but will pop out).

There are 4 screws under the felt in Arm rest console, and you should see the rest after removing the gearstick console part.
