Don't care that's it's old and is an afordable performance car. I've been out in it most of the evening and totally love it to bits still!

The more I drive it, the more I love it. I'm back home now drinking vodka realising that I'm a lucky chap owning something a bit different, a bit powerful.

It's not just the lovely driving position and the car's composure, it's not just that lovely engine. It's the whole presence the car has.

I get people looking at it as if it was a Ferrari, not some 14 year old Datsun.

Happy. :)

Please excuse this rather pants thread. Just happy at the moment, started my new job on Wednesday and that's going really well too. After 3 years of total hell and almost bankrupcy, I've hauled my ass out of the hole I was in, got the job I've wanted for a long time and got a sports car I've lusted after for years and years. :)

It's wierd that for a long wait, life is now on the up. Feel quite fortunate at the moment and I just pray that it lasts!

Nice one Si

The 300zx is sooo adictive. When I haven't used it for a week I sometimes thing about replacing it with something newer, but when I get back in it and drive barely the first couple of yards down the road and realise why I keep it.

I have told Julia I honestly do lover her more than my ZX but she knows it's close, very close :x:

Good luck with the new job too, mate.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Sorry for this thread though, I drank a fair bit of vodka last night.....

Ha Ha, chuffed for you mate. I put a 'love my Zed' thread up when I got mine a few months back! Dave

LOL, there addictive buddy!! :D

I had a low point for mine a few weeks ago, i mean i have owned Z's for 2 years now, but after taking it round a track (well airfield/proving ground) all the bad stuff went out the window and i am well and truely in love with my Z again, albeit that that day made the Z get 2 water leaks LOL, but it was well worth it!!

Long live the Z (and optimax fuel at a reasonable price)

DEAD RIGHT , it gives me less grief

Yep, it's a great car. I've considered selling it, even though I've only had it 6 months, and getting something cheaper to run, but it's such a fantastic car, and I love driving it so much that I don't really want to part from it, so I'm keeping it for the time being.

I "HAD" to sell mine about 6 months ago, and have been waiting to replace it ever since !!

At 43 I have had a few different cars, but none that has bitten me as hard as the zed!!

Good luck in the new job mate and even better luck with your Zed. :)

Hope to be singing its praises again soon myself !!

zeds 4 ever x x x x x x

I've had 2 years of pure sh1t. spent nye on 25K on her and get really pi55ed when people i've paid to do jobs do crap workmanship and don't treat my car as though it's the crown jewels. Why?

Because I love her, thats why.

6 years on and I'm worse now than I was. Though once she's finished (if she ever is) I'll be saving for a stable mate.

never owned a car for so long & not got bored with it!!
