There isn't anyone on this forum that hasn't made a pratt of themself at some time, myself included. We have had claims of cars that do 205mph to Evo spec zeds that I for one have never heard of as well as everything in between. :o

 

It seems to me that certain members of this forum get jumped on every time they post a thread just for the sake of other peoples amusement. This is nothing more than school yard bullying and its time to rap it up. :wack:

 

I joined this club for the cars as well as the friendly banter & help offered on this site. It really pisses me off when people who havent been on this forum for more than five minutes give it large at the expense of another new member. This sort or sh1t is dragging this forum down & anyone who is looking to join will no doubt think twice about it when they see how bitchy we are to new members. THIS IS EMBARRASSING

 

Maybe some of the people on here deserve to get a ribbing every now & then. I myself will no doubt get a bit of negative feedback regarding this thread. But just remember why we are here & what brings us all together. If you actually got chance to meet the people you are ripping to bits, you may find they are allright.

 

If the people who seem to have been singled out in my description of silly comments are offended,then I appologise. This was just an example of the kind of thing that is being jumped on when made by others.

 

Surely we are man enough to stand up n be honest with ourselfs & say enough is enough.

Iv been a member for quite some time (yes there are members who have been here longer) but even i have to agree with this. I hardly post anything unless its worth posting, i have to say i prefered it when i first joined as the community spirit on this forum was alot better............ i some how believe that it hasint been the same for quite a while and i still log on to see whats goin on but it just doesint feel the same.

Whats wrong with that, I like reading utter shite most of the time, i'm bored anywho:p besides where the harm in fun, if anyone disagrees then they are prob. depressed or something, not my prob, general discussion is a non 300zx related forum anyway.

maybe its a measure of how successful the forum is...i mean if you look back into the archive (and lets say) in any given month you found that of 100 threads 20% were NZR but only had 200 members back then.....it would stand to reason when you got 800 members and 400 threads a month you would see a lot more NZR....so in real terms no difference in the amount of junk just more visable.....totally unscientific guess work on my part....shoot me down if anyone has got figures or the time to work it out

Yeah, there is a lot of drivel on the forum lately. I used to log on and scroll through the 'new posts' section, reading most of them. Now i do the same, but there seems to be about 3 times as many threads as there was before, but not much of them are worth reading.

i don't think anyone is having a dig at NZR stuff m8, as much as we all love our cars i think it would be a pretty boring place if it was nothing else but the car, its the total drivel posted, then when some newbie maybe posts without thinking (maybe not knowing) he is slaughtered, yes the fiesta etc was funny, but you only get 3 months for assault, but seems a slip of the keyboard or not thinking lol, and your gone for life

 

i found those posts more amusing than some members who come on once every 3 weeks etc destroy someones help/wanted/for sale post etc with "amusing" :rolleyes: posts and goes off in search of lord lucan again

have to 100% agree with Spinksy and others above, agree with Chris to a certain degree its part of life, but football forums you ALWAYS will have a different opinion to others and NOTHING can change who you support, so the ribbing is always there (especially if you support everton :tongue: )

but this forum we are all supposed to be like minded re the car, and those that have sold up moved on, its still good to see their posts, a shame to read that many of the older (longer) members are moving on or thinking about it

I was the subject of part of Spinksy's rant. you all know that by now. I did get the right hump because i was jumped on at first and felt like a tw@ at the time. I was as some of you know stating information that i had been fed and was totally innocent of the fact. I didnt know any better? I took it on the nose and ended up becoming good mates with the main aggressor. But I have to say this to all of you that agree with Spinksy. If you chat 5hit then what do you expect? We all know who the main subject is and I aint affraid to say it. IndianZX? But lets face the facts and get real. You keep saying that its becoming an unfriendly place. Well that might have something to do with the sort of people that have "Registered" lately. Some who seem like kids. So what do you want then? well thats not just down to newbies, some of the older generation will have read said thread and not bothered to reply, but get a good bs thread started and a lot of the older generation join in
