Right - my money is on the car - unless maccas is driving. then the power to weight ratio will go down to about 17.4bhp/ton

 Oh Dear Mr C one pool tick for JAE 06 :D

... but you are talking about a seriously modified car and a standard road bike, the FZR will have it up to about 120 because of weight and initial accelleration then bye bye as it just won't have the legs of the beast top end, however ... put it up against a modified EXUP and you will lose gracefully anything up to 200 in any gear lol !!! If the Zed is close to that then fair enough.

The exup has 145 bhp standard and weighs in at 214kg, thats 677bhp per ton, does 0-60 in 2.7 seconds and 172 top end.

Yes thats right as there is no way on Gods earth that a standard road car will kick a bikes arse of that sort of power, unless you are talking mega buck exotics? I have a 15 year old tuned Nissan, its not a serious competition its just a little fun.

I can see the bike getting in front for about 10-15 seconds but once the car has sorted out the power to weight ratio it will pass the bike with ease. Do you need a co-pilot Mac?

Well as mac owns both the car and the bike then he wins either way LOL.

To hold your own against a bike like that is a massive achievment and credit to any car that can it isnt about whether cars are better than bikes or vice versa.

Don't think power to weight ratio is the issue here (well I guess it is ultimately), it's about aerodynamics.

It has to be the car, as the bike simply doesn't pull the same top end.

Havn't met Mac yet. How aerodynamic are you mate?!

I've done something similar to this in my mates R33 GTR skyline. The car was 600bhp with a sequensial strait cut 6 speed box and heavily lightened as it was a track car. The car was a fast as the bike even on pull away and started to distance itself infront of the bike at about 100mph. The car carried on to 200mph although some of the paint had been torn from the front bumper at this stage!! never expected that! The bike was a blade.

Good luck

LOL I am driving the car :slap:

Me mate has an R1 and said after 120mph there was not much between him and his mates skyline around 500bhp I think

Z to win

When you floor the gas pedal and the ECU kicks in there is a split second when it decides what you require from the car? This is the moment I was refering to.

"Right I got a big geezer who wants me to go real fast?. So i better give him full boost" and then all hell breaks loose. Lets be fair! 70 MPH is nothing, just ticking over really? :D

Get the picture? :headvswal
