Weather HOT, HOT, HOT

 

Beer COLD, COLD, COLD

 

Food, Great :)

 

Done a week's Nile cruise and saw Valley of The Kings, Valley of The Queens, Kom Obo Temple and Abu Simbel amongst many others.

 

Now in The Hilton at Luxor for a week's "relaxation" :rolleyes:

 

Seen Karnak and Luxor temples, been on a Felluca and had a balloon flight at dawn over The Nile and into the Sahara. Also going riding on an Arabian Horse on Saturday.

 

Have experienced the crazy, crazy taxi driving and seen no other cars apart from old Peugeots!!!

I remembered how amazed I was at the amount of these driving round....

 

 

 

EVERY other car is one. Unbelieveble amounts, you see whole fleets of them on the road.

 

Most have German number plates poking out underneath the Arabic ones placed on top.

 

Hot here is 48 degrees :p and yeah those cars are the ones!!!

 

Glad you're having good weather tho - cold beer is the solution :)

Mate - I went to Sri Lanka last year and had an awesome time.

 

I just booked the flight out there and the first two days in a hotel then played it by ear from then for the remanining 12 days - went all over the place.

 

I could recommend some great places if you're thinking of moving round the place a bit.

 

And if you're having anti malarial tablets, PLEASE, PLEASE don't take Lariam - they did terrible things to my g/f.

Sweeeeeet! I always wanted to go to Egypt!! One day i'll get there!!

 

Do they have a stair lift for the pyramids??? :rofl: :D

 

And dont go swopping anything for any camels! :p

back from Egypt and what a great time was had. Too busy at work to catch up with everything that's been going here- bummer!!!!
