First of all hi everyone, my first post!

I've just fitted 4 250w 4 way 6x9s with no probs (I say no probs what i actually mean was it was a total b****r) and i've just trying to do the simple thing of running a power cable directly with an inline fuse from the front via the bulkhead to the boot.

Now problem is I cannot find any rubber grommits i can feed the wire through, I'm guessing somebody's done this before at some point so:

a. Is there a hole i could poke the wire through (could you tell me location of the engine bay side and the other side)

b. If not then where is the best place to drill through without drilling through brake pipes, aircon, etc!

All the best,

Nick

There are at least two that i know of.

One either side.

Down by the foot well on the bulk head

about half way up the wing level.

I found (well krsmayo did) the passenger side easier to thread through as theres so much other stuff going through the drivers side.

make sure to use a flexiable non permanent sealent if you leave a gap...otherwise damp and water may get in ;)

take the wire down next to the battery, plastic cover thing, take of the inner wheel arch cover and make a small in the rubber cover for the main loom, take of the kick cover in the passenger foot weel and feed a stiff wire through from the wheel side.

Brilliant, thanks folks, most helpful. I'll put some pics and stats up on my car once i've finished the install and given it a good clean!

Cheers,

Nick
