I sold my z 6 moths ago to paul Fwx and to cut a very long story short he only paid me for half of the car.. and trashed it for 6 months!.. (i would advise people to stay away... he's a oxygen thief) :smash: anyway i have my baby back. . with a MAT BLACK paint job!!.. rough engine and a smashed bodykit and wheels that are the wrong off set as he smashed my ones and put some crap ones on it... scored discs etc......

So i need some new discs and pads... maybe looking for something bigger? they where grooved so i dont want to go back to stock... any advice?

And does anyone have any idea how you look after mat paint?!! it looks quite good.. ill try and get some pics later.. but i have nooooo idea what to do with it as wax is probably a no no... again any advice would be mint..

And does anyone know roughly how much it is to get a front bumper fitted and sprayed? as mine is in a bad state

and is there anywhere in scotland that i can take her to be looked at to see what the tit's done to her, he has fitted some red hoses but im not sure they are a good fit and she sounds really rough!.....is there anyone up near glasgow or st andrews?

And lastly... anyone up in sunny scotland with a zed?

Sorry to go on..... and on..... and on,,, :smash:

Hi, and wow ! Welcome back to zed ownership :)

I would suggest contacting bodywork plus (see traders) section about advice concering the Matt paint job. If you easily get yourself a replacement stock bumper for next to nothing of another member of one of the Breakers in traders section, then your looking at a couple of hundred quid to spray.

Wheel offset is 35-42

Hi Brett

If you want your engine given a going over then I can strongly suggest AWD motersport engineering in Perth. There numbers 01738 633336. What they dont know about engines isnt worth knowing! There a very friendly bunch who will be more than pleased to help you. Speak to Grant, Andy or dave.

hmm, ok.. So where do i start on here, just to defend myself...

The sideskirts were damaged when i bought the car (i know the guy who fixed his car quite well) Brett had smashed up the front bumper, and had it repaired... The skirts were also cracked (the guy who repaired them has told me in the last week).. The bumper started to show signs of where the filler was, so thats basically why it looks liek it does now.... I had cut a hole in the bumper ready for a 500bhp + FMIC.... Which ive not bothered to buy now...

The wheels? erm.... as u can see fm his avatar, the wheels i put on were far far far nicer, goes to show that he bought some wheels very similar to the ones i actually put on it??

The engine is rough now? Atleast it is running! When i purchased it off of him, the engine was flooded, spark plugs were badly damaged, PTU was fooked, battery was dead as a dodo, oil hadnt been changed for over 20 thousnd miles (if ever), what next...

Nitrous cable was running UNDER the car, CABLE-TIED to the under car 'chav' LED's... needless to say, the Nitrous cable was rubbing along the floor, so i re-routed it inside of the car....

There was a massive dent on the rear quarter, that i had fixed, the rear two tyres were bald, the tracking was out by a long long way on the front too....

On all of his adverts, he advertised the car as having a NISMO clutch, after two weeks of me having it, the clutch went bang, it had been leaking fluid into the gearbox, as the garage he used had cut corners in fitting it, funny enough, the guarentee ran out 3 days prior.... Oh, and it was a standard Nissan clutch, so i put a clutch in, that cost £1100 inc labour... Bit of an increase dare i say!

The respray? Brett came into my work, and said to me he hated the paintwork, that i had ruined the car etc etc.... Erm, come on! You have all said yourself, i have made that car what it is! Its quite well known on the show circuit, of which Brett has NO idea.... Id even go to the stage to say he doesnt know anything about cars....... That car become part of me, i explained to him about the financial situatuion, the fact that he had lied about the spec.. 500bhp, quickly turned into a standard 300ZX TT, running 60bhp NoS... 140bhp difference? erm.... Slightly over advertising i think... No sign of a metal Headgasket, no sign of forged pistons... It was sold under massive false pretence.... i was stupid to buy it.. I realise that now....

Brett has already claimed to me that i will get the 3k back that i paid in thefirst place, he's said it on more thatn one occasion.. Now when i read thru his 'bragging' messages, it seems he has no intention on returning that money..

Ive made lists and it totals £5775 in the 6 months ive owned the car....

So after speaking to Police, ill soon be contacting the Citizens Advice Bureau, and then onto a fried who is a barrister, im sure all of this will besettled a few months down the line..

Brett will have brought the Air Force under disrepute, which will do his career no good for the next year or so.....

So there my side of the story.. I loved that car for the 6 months i owned it.. only for him to lie, and slyly go behind my back, and steal the car with a spare key he always kept without my consent.. In my eyes, he's just missed the car, the attention.. And decided he'll take it back..... With no consideration.. he claims hes got no money to pay me back.. Yet he's just spent just over 1k on wheels and tyres.. Doesnt that sound a bit silly?

As we've said Brett, i hope u have a good lawyer...

I dont want this on the board thanks!
