Hi Bud;

you ok? I had to get the mobile tyre guy out today as the rear tyres i had fitted for MOT seem to be going down way too quick (4 days 25 psi loss!!) Turns out it is not the valves that i thought but the Split rims have sprung a leak. :cry: so i now can't find any one to referb; it looks like i will have to have new rims..... :dance: :dance: shame i will have to stick to 17" as the tyres are all new . :(

Any way mate hope to see you soon. Check out my journal soon for updates.

Yeah, goin fine mate, you too?

Can't the rims be 'sealed' at all? The guy i bought the car from

had those rear tyres fitted, i never had any probs with air loss.

I'd have a ask around before buying new rims though, they're

gorgeous rims, really suit the car.

But if your gonna go for new rims, how about some of these...

Racing Hart cr's, lovely!

Available from Luke @ zcentre, bit pricey though!

I did the seal on my split rims. Get a garage to take the tyre off and then get a drill with a wire brush attachment to clean the area around the split. once its clean use silicone all round the splitrim section and leave to dry overnight. I had to do this on all 4 of mine and worked a treat. Alot of work needed but cheaper than new wheels.
